About us

Energy Radar · Market Intelligence

A Saudi platform for energy-market analysis: prices labelled by source, a daily tension index, and dated forecasts judged in public when their horizon closes. What governs our work is written in these two sections — the regulatory terms, and the method by which we reach a number.

Terms, Conditions and Policies

ENERGY RADAR | Market Intelligence

Effective and last updated: August 2026

Welcome to Energy Radar. This document governs your use of our platform, the Terminal, our analytical services and the market data provided through them. By using the platform you agree to all terms and policies set out below. Please read them carefully.

Part One: Terms of Use

1. Acceptance, age and capacity

  • Acceptance:By using the Energy Radar platform you fully accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the platform immediately.
  • Age and legal capacity:Users must be at least 18 to create an account. As our services target business (B2B) and professional investors, you confirm you hold the authority to represent the entity you register for, and the capacity to contract in Saudi Arabia.

2. Nature and limits of the service (financial disclaimer)

  • Not financial advice: The platform provides indicators, analysis and readings of energy, commodity and supply-chain events, for informational and indicative purposes only. No content issued by the platform constitutes a recommendation or an invitation to buy or sell any financial asset.
  • Individual responsibility: Trading carries high risk. The decision to execute transactions or enter contracts rests entirely and exclusively with the user.
  • No trade execution: The platform does not execute trades, connect to trading accounts, or manage assets for users. Any API we provide carries informational data and alerts only; use within your own systems is at your sole responsibility.

3. Accounts, subscriptions and refunds

  • You are fully responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys confidential.
  • Automatic renewal: A monthly subscription renews automatically every month, and an annual one every twelve months, charging the same amount to the card used at signup on the date the current term ends — unless you stop it before then.
  • Stopping renewal: You may stop renewal at any time from your account page with one click, without contacting us and without giving a reason. Your access continues in full until the end of the paid term, after which no further charge is made.
  • Card on file: To enable renewal we store only a token issued by the payment provider, the last four digits of the card and its brand. The full card number and security code never reach us. Stopping renewal ends any use of that token.
  • Value Added Tax: The displayed amount is the final amount charged; nothing is added at checkout. Should the entity become subject to Value Added Tax, prices will be inclusive of it without changing the displayed amount, and the tax will be shown on the invoice.
  • Price changes: If the price of your plan changes it will not apply to your running term, and you will be notified before renewal with enough time to stop it.
  • Accepted cards: Our payment provider currently accepts cards issued in Saudi Arabia and declines foreign-issued cards before the request reaches us.
  • Refund policy: Given the nature of digital services and immediate data access, subscription fees paid are non-refundable once the plan is activated, except where the E-Commerce Law provides otherwise.
  • Annual subscription: The annual subscription is paid in advance for twelve months and is subject to the same refund policy. The contents of each plan may change as the platform develops, provided a paid plan is not reduced during its running term.

4. Acceptable use and anti-scraping

  • Strict prohibition on scraping: Using bots or web-scraping techniques to extract or copy any part of the platform content or live price feeds is strictly prohibited.
  • Any attempt to reverse-engineer the platform’s methodologies or analytical models will result in immediate account suspension and legal action.

5. Track record, preview features and illustrative data

  • Track record: Forecasts in the public track record are dated analytical judgements for research and information only, not investment advice. Past performance — including any accuracy figures shown — does not guarantee future results.
  • Displayed data: The chokepoint observatory, the price board and the projects section are working sections showing real data, not illustrative data. Every figure carries its source and reading date, and states explicitly whether it is a live price, a previous session close, or an official reading published with a lag.
  • Third-party sources: Some series rely on third-party providers and exchanges, and may lag, break or be revised at source. We apply plausibility bounds that reject implausible values, but we do not warrant that source data is free of error.
  • Launch phase: During the founding phase some indicators may update on a non-real-time cadence; we commit to labelling the nature of each figure in context.

6. Intellectual property and jurisdiction

  • The analytical models, algorithms and underlying architecture are protected under copyright law.
  • These terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the courts of Riyadh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Part Two: Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we collect and use your data, in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) supervised by SDAIA.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: Name, work email, and entity name.
  • Payment and financial connection data: We do not store your card details. Payments are processed exclusively through a licensed provider in the Kingdom without card data passing through our systems; technical access keys are stored encrypted to industry standards.
  • Your correspondence: What you send through the site forms or support email is stored in our message record so it can be read and answered. It is readable by administration only, kept as long as needed to respond and to meet legal requirements, and you may request its deletion.

2. Data sharing and transfer

  • We never sell your personal or corporate data to any party. Protecting your strategy is the core of our business.
  • We may disclose data if required by a judicial order from a competent Saudi regulator.

3. Your rights under the PDPL

  • The right to know how your data is processed, to access it, to request correction, or destruction (subject to statutory retention periods).

Part Three: Cookies Policy

We use small text files stored on your device so the Terminal runs efficiently without reloading, for the following reasons:

  • Security (essential files): Verifying your identity, preventing intrusion and encrypting the session (cannot be disabled).
  • Performance (WebSockets): To keep the session stable and the terminal responsive without repeated reloads.
  • Traffic measurement (cookie-free): We measure visit counts and which pages are requested, to know what is read and what is not. This measurement writes no cookie, creates no persistent identifier for you, does not track you across other sites, and is never sold.
